Intake Staffing Coordinator F/T

JOB DESCRIPTION

Intake Coordinator needed for a busy home health referral company located in Phoenix at Northern Avenue and 16 Street. This position requires detailed documentation of all patient/facility requests and services. Coordinator must act as a liaison to facilitate communication between service request sources, patients/clients and the health care delivery agencies. Candidate is responsible for documenting and maintaining accurate records during the process starting with the initial request for services, verification of insurance, delivery of home health care services and the final record of completion in our data base.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Detail oriented self-starter
  • Self-directed and able to work with little supervision
  • Must be able to multitask and work with a variety of software simultaneously
  • Fast paced environment with deadlines
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Professional phone etiquette
  • Experience with medical terminology
  • Healthcare or Medicare experience preferred
  • Excellent typing skills
  • Customer service experience is an asset
  • Punctual

SCHEDULE OPTIONS

Mon through Fri 9 am to 6 pm or Thurs, Fri, Sat, Sun, and Mon
